Isba is a third year astrophysics major from Chicago who loves learning about the universe beyond our planet. Besides pondering about astrophysics she loves reading, tutoring, listening to music, going to the beach, and hanging out with her cat.
Veronica is a third year Physics major. Aside from physics, she also enjoys mathematics and music. She plays in the Woodwind Chamber Ensemble at UCLA as a pianist.
David is a 4th year, senior at UCLA. He transferred from Santa Monica College where he received his associates degrees, General Science A.A. and Mathematics (for transfer) A.S.-T. At UCLA, he is majoring in Physics B.S. and minoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, and is interested in researching climate change and renewable energies.

Leo is a second-year international student going into mechanical engineering. He has taken a great interest in automotive and aerospace engineering, working on project cars and learning about aerospace and aeronautics designs during his free time. Notwithstanding his passion for internal combustion engines in the traditional industries, he is excited to explore the R&D and applications in renewable energy and its storage, on which we might count on for a carbon-neutral future.
Pranav is a fourth-year Physics major from India. He is investigating the role of quantized vortices in the phase transition of liquid 4-He into a superfluid. Some of his favorite things include growing plants, watching plants grow, exploring California with his cat and dog, and fluid mechanics.

Havyn is a 3rd year physics major at UCLA interested in particle and beam physics. As UCLA’s resident Florida man, he also enjoys playing trumpet and spikeball in his time off from wrestling gators.

Zooey is a fourth-year Physics and Math Comp major, with experience in machine learning applications ranging from industry to astrophysics. In her free time she’s probably scrolling Tiktok, but sometimes she’ll bike, skate, or birdwatch. She plans to work in China or Vietnam someday, but for now you can find her in the Bay Area.
Suyash is a senior Physics major at UCLA, with research focus in observational/ computational extragalactic astronomy. He also operates satellites ELFIN-A and ELFIN-B at UCLA’s ELFIN CubeSat Project. He has a passion for cooking and playing the guitar besides wanting to explore the secrets of the Universe!
